Shad Ireland teamed up with The Public Internet Channel to embark on an inspirational bike ride across the United States. It’s all part of his ‘What Inspires You’ tour.

Ireland, a dialysis patient and Ironman triathlete, educates the public about preventing the various health problems associated with kidney disease. He also encourages other patients to pursue their dreams.

Obesity, diabetes and high blood pressure are the leading causes of kidney failure in the United States. Ireland’s message of education and prevention is aimed at the more than 26 million Americans who suffer from Chronic Kidney Disease, while another 21 million remain undiagnosed.

Ireland’s ‘What Inspires You’ tour will take him on a bike ride across the United States, beginning in California and ending in Washington, D.C. His ride started in May of 2009 and will end in August.
