You all need to quit playin’! This is getting really really good and you know it. These need to be a little bit longer, because waiting for the next one to come week to week is really killing me. This series is really good, I’m interested in how little ms. trina takes a turn and if uncle Bo’s health will take a turn for the worst. I’m so very proud of Ocean registering for college, it’s the first step in the rest of her life…

I agree. I would love if the episodes were longer or more frequent. This is a really great show.

  3. Outlandt says:

How did uncle Bo get rid of that creep? Did I miss something? Trina is a very confused young woman, I feel bad for her because she is going the wrong way even though she sees what Ocean is going through. I am also proud of Ocean for registering and she reminded me of me with my books all spread on the bed, the phone and a notebook! I love this show so much! It is so annoying to hear tons of acclaim for Venice and a couple of other websoaps and hardly anything about this one.. which is so real it is almost scary. Oh well, as long as I have all of you fellow fans, I know that when I rave about Single Mom, someone knows what I am going on about and can appreciate the enthusiasm. Great Stuff! Love it!

  4. Outlandt says:

Wow, I watch the epis over and over… I must be addicted, lol. Hard… reallll Hard. Kudos!

  5. Outlandt says:

lol! It just keeps getting better and better and better! Amazing!

I am sorry, but Lupe is not a good mother. Loving your kids means putting them first and she is so busy running around trying to have the nice looking guy, the great job as if she is really Trina’s age. She needs to have her breast examined and treated once and for all, otherwise she is going to be in for the shock of her life. The outcome will be disastrous for her and what about her kids. That guy wants to marry her? Man, she is lupier than I thought. Her son runs away, his bio-dad isn’t coming round looking or fighting for him and she thinks this is going to work?`Get real. I love Lupe, but she really needs to stop and think about the reality of life and not just its highlife. Hope she gets help soon enough!

  7. Outlandt says:

Oh man, Ocean better get to Uncle Bo soon, those tremors look serious! Diabetes and Alc don’t mix— can’t wait for next week!

  8. Brownshuga73 says:

Lupe really needs a reality check, she is so typical. Got a good man and don’t want him, got a deceitful, rough-a** good for nothing and she fall all over him. wow she is a bad mother LOVE is not always enough….

  9. Brownshuga73 says:

This is a great show, I’m encouraging my daughter to watch 2 I can’t wait to see the next episodes. Her niece is really a lost teenager who is letting the world overwhelm her. She is breaking inside, can someone help her please?

  10. iesha the single mother of 2 says:

i was just like her niece. lost an comfused. i love this.

  11. CYDawson says:

I too started out as a manager of an apartment building while going to school. So many lives become a part of your own, perserverance is the only way to go. Great show, and it hits home!

  12. CYDawson says:

Lupe is typical of some many young mother’s today. They do indeed love their children, they just don’t know how to show it because they were never shown. Motherhood is trial and error there is no text on how to be a good mother.

  13. lhooks says:

I was like Ocean only I raised my siblings. Being the eldest you tend to take care of everyone else. And when no one is there to take care of you it is then you realize you have to turn to Someone bigger than you to show you how to like, love, appreciate and take care of yourself! Go Ocean! I love this show. Thanks to all involved to bring quality material to encourage mothers.

  14. jsacto says:

@CYDawson. Having one child might be trial and error. However having 2 children when you can’t afford the one you have…..why? She knew what she was doing when she got pregnant. Even though it’s trial and error, the child (ren) are the ones who suffer. I

  15. ummhazim says:

Making mistakes is one thing, while learning from them is a whole ‘nother! I wonder what it will take for Lupe to realize that.

  16. dymondamare says:

We all could use a snap-back. Me first

  17. 1niceday says:

love this show! very real and i can relate to the characters…too bad this show is not picked up by a major network, good job robert townsend.

  18. Niecee Holden says:

@lhooks: Me too!! I guess that is why I turned to God at such an early age . . . there was no one else who would listen to what I was going through as a child taking care of children. It made me strong. It made me who I am. Great epi!!!

  19. Double D says:

Excellent job Robert! As usual, since Cooley High, you’re keepin’ on keepin’ on!!

  20. Tamara says:

I love this program, I first it was hard because I couldn’t stop thinking it was made for me about me and ofter we see ourselves in others and its the best doctors appointment you’ll ever keep. I’m blessed to have raised my two children without the financial struggles but the family struggles where all there from the fast as daughter to the bright and proud son. The brothers and sisters leaving there problems on you or asking for money all the time, life strange that way the Lord blessing you but also test you in the heart exam by ensuring that its not always about you and yours but the village overall.

  21. ohsotrue says:

I like the writing for this show especially when the focus is on Trina. Trina is a great example of young girls today making the wrong decisions, afraid to trust in those who truly love and care for them instead trust in the devil. So many lesson taught in only 15 minuts. Great job!

  22. Pam says:

Dang! Diabetes, alcoholism? This show mimics real life so well. I love it.

  23. For The Love OF Tina says:

    Leon is sooo fine
