What I Love About This Show Is That You Can Relate Even If You’re Not A Single Mother! It’s Real!

Like China Anderson’s character Sophie, children often create imaginary friends to cope with the insecurity that springs forth from uncertainty. But sometimes, however, it’s an expression of their creativity in spite of adversity. Having followed China Anderson’s career and having witnessed her acting ability, I hope that the writers and directors do the opposite of what’s predictable. We already expect that some school teacher or school principal will eventually underestimate Sophie due to her circumstances. It would be quite the twist (and quite exciting) to see China Anderson’s character Sophie use the imaginary friend as a means to develop her ability to sing or play piano instead of the it being a means to survive the drama and trauma of a single parent household. China, great job! Can’t wait to see YOU in episode 5!

Some of this was good, and some of it read like a Hallmark movie . . . too perfect.

  26. Tina says:

Yes this really needs to be on television. It has such a deep meaning of what a single mother is and how she handle daily struggles.

I’m just finding out about this series & I am extremely impressed. I’m enjoying DOASM very much. The problem is that season 1: episodes 4-8 are not playing on my computer. I’ve watched episodes 1-3 & the other episodes from the other seasons appear to work fine (just clicked on them but haven’t watched). I don’t know what is wrong but I want to finish season 1. Help!!! Fix this please. Thanx.

  28. Ngeri says:

I cannot watch the episode! :(
