How to Buy eBooks on Amazon

Go to the web
Open your Internet Browser (Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc.) from your desktop or start menu. An Nguyen recommends Google Chrome, but any will do the trick.

Visit Amazon
Type Amazon.com in your search bar.

Sign up for an account
Sign in or sign up for an account by clicking the link at the top of the page. To sign up for an account, all you need is an email address and a password.

Shop for eBooks
In the left-hand column, you can get to eBooks by clicking either on the tab that says “Kindle” or “Books” and then clicking the link “Kindle Books”.

Search for the eBook you want
Browse the categories in the left-hand column to find the eBook you want. Click on the title of the eBook.

Buy your eBook
On the page for your book, in the right-hand column, use the scroll-down box to click on the device you’d like your eBook delivered to (a Kindle, a Nook, etc.). Then click “Buy”. Easy, right?
