Do you have any old printers, digital cameras, video cameras, digital picture frames, or camera accessories like lenses and flashes that you want to get rid of?

Now Kodak is launching a Trade-In and Recycling Program for your used camera gear and electronics. They’re partnering with SMASH Direct on this online trade-in program.

So, how does it work?

  1. Go to the Kodak Trade-In Center, create an account and login.
  2. Provide info on the product or products you’d like to trade.
  3. Kodak will give you an instant resale value estimation.
  4. If your item is worth something, SMASH Direct will send you a pre-paid shipping label, so you can ship the product to them.
  5. You’ll get a check upon receipt and inspection of the item(s).
  6. If your product doesn’t have resale value, they’ll refer you to a local recycling options.

Other retailers, like Walmart, Sears, and Costco have similar programs that reward shoppers with store gift cards when they recycle their electronics.

Also check out Gazelle, which is another site where you can trade-in your electronics.
