Relationship problems? Let the community be the judge with CouplesSpark

Is it okay for a girlfriend to go through her partner’s email? Do you suspect your spouse of a Facebook affair? How do you divvy up your income when one spouse is a stay-at-home parent?

Couples post problems like these on CouplesSpark, sharing both sides of the argument, and then ask the online community to solve their relationship woes.

You can vote which “mate” is right and give a thumbs up to a particular conflict. Top “refs” receive badges and recognition for their advice.

CouplesSpark allows you to vent your problems and get objective (hopefully) third party advice. Outsiders give you a new perspective on how to look at the issue, perhaps in a way you’d never have thought of.

Writing down the issue in a succinct way and seeing what your partner has to say can be very cathartic.

The tone of the site is light and open, making it feel like a safe place to air your grievances with your partner, even if it’s online and to complete strangers.

It’s a little weird at first, yes, but actually a fun way to solve problems once you get used to the initial strangeness. And as we’ve talked about in HookedUp before, a lot more of our relationships are spent online anyway.

Crowd-sourced relationship advice better than Dear Abby? You decide!

LOL! What a great idea for a website! I really like “voting” for who is in the right or wrong.
