If your holiday shopping list is long, the joy of the season can be sapped by crowded stores, long lines, and dwindling account balances. But there are several websites and apps that are making shopping a little more merry with coupons and gift card organizing.

Tango Card – Giving a person a gift card is a pretty fool-proof gift. But Tango Card makes it even better by giving you several different options of places you can spend your card, like Amazon, Target, Home Depot, and others. It also allows you redeem any unspent balance for cash. Or even better, donate the money left on the card to several different charities. You can also keep your gift cards organized either on the web or with the Tango Card mobile phone app.

Milo.com – When you visit Milo.com, it shows you what products are currently on the shelves of your local stores. It makes it possible for you to know for sure that the product you want will be there when you go to the store. Now they will be offering coupons to sweeten the deal a little more, which you can either print out or use right from your phone. This way you’ll know what the best deals are before you even set foot in a store.

ShopKick – Imagine an Android app that automatically recognizes when you’ve entered a store. The app immediately sends you “kickbucks”that can be redeemed for rewards at many different popular stores. Easy. That’s the beauty of the ShopKick app.

Cardpool – As hard as they try and as much as we appreciate their effort, sometimes our relatives goof up and buy us gift cards to places we have no interest in shopping. Lucky for us, Cardpool is a gift card exchange set up to solve this problem. On the site, you can buy gift cards up to 30% off or sell them for up to 92% cash back.

Good luck as you shop smart this December!

Going to be buying a lot of gift cards this Christmas so this is a useful list. Thanks!

By the way, this could be a notable addition: eBillme.com is offering a bunch of holiday gift card deals on brands like JCPenney, The Home Depot and Dell. For example, right now you can get $15 off a Dell Gift Card with a mail-in rebate. Worth checking out =)

Online shopping provides a lot of opportunities for saving money while shopping. Several cash back sites, coupon sites, rewards programs are available on the net that help shoppers saving online. Such facilities are not available in the brick and mortar stores. Moreover, online retailers provide special offers to the online buyers. Being a frugal online buyer, I always use cash back websites like ShopAtHome, AAfter Search and Ebates, and MrRebates.
