Host a Screening of Harvest of Dignity

Posted on June 11th, 2011 by Alejandra Okie 2 Comments

Harvest of Dignity is an original documentary that helps audiences understand the challenges faced by farm workers today.

The Farmworker Advocacy Network is encouraging individuals and groups to host screenings of Harvest of Dignity and share the film with friends, family, neighbors, church members or the community. The film screenings can take place at local coffeehouses, businesses, community centers, movie theaters, fundraising house parties or living rooms.

The film is available online exclusively on PIC.tv and a DVD is available for $2.50. Harvest of Dignity is in English and Spanish with subtitles.

Contact the Farmworker Advocacy Network if you need help organizing a screening. If you live in North Carolina, you can invite a representative from the Farmworker Advocacy Network to talk to your group about farm worker issues.

We would like to show Harvest of Dignity to an audience on our campus. Is a public performance license necessary? Do we have your permission to show it to a public audience (no admission charge)? Thanks.
