Harvest of Dignity is a new, original documentary created in 2011.
The 1960 film Harvest of Shame was the last televised documentary by North Carolina-born journalist Edward R. Murrow. It explored social, health and labor issues faced by men, women and children working in agriculture in the U.S.
Fifty years later, Harvest of Dignity revisits the lives and work of farm workers in North Carolina, providing an in-depth portrait of the people who harvest our food today.
The film is in Spanish and English with subtitles.
