Even though we know it’s good for the environment, recycling isn’t always the most exciting chore. Sadly, between sorting, crushing and taking paper off, it’s easier to just throw it in the garbage. And our recycling rates prove that’s the case.
But what if you could take an ordinary item like wrappers, plastic bottles, etc. and turn them into something you can use – saving money and waste. Well, NBC and TerraCycle came up with a fun way to show you how to turn garbage into eco-friendly, money-saving products.
With their contraption you can choose the item to recycle, it makes it’s way through the fancy shmancy machine and pops out as a reusable product on the other end.
