when the baby cames lonnie’s family will have to sacrifice a lot so they can make ends meet. money will be even tighter for lonnie’s family when the baby is born. i think lonnie should finish school and also try to get a part time job.
i think when the baby comes lonnies mom will become more stressed about money because babys are expensive. i think it is very important for lonnie to focus on school so he can graduate but i also think that lonnie should get a part time job to help with the cost.
Question #1
I don’t think all the arguing is good for tye’s pregnancy. Her being upset might mess up the hormones in her body and it might effect the baby. She needs to calm down and so does the rest of the family in order to have a healthy baby.
Question #!
No, it really doesn’t seem like Tya is having a smooth pregnancy. Her parent’s are always fighting her mom is on her back and she’s worried about what her boyfriend will think about the babygirl. She has too much on her mind and stress can’t possibly be good for the mama or the baby.
i dont think ty is having a smooth pregnancy because her mom is putting a lot of pressure on her and being rude with her. Ty’s dad is trying his best to get ty’s pregnancy smooth and he wants the same from his wife.
no it doesn’t seem like tye is having a smooth pregnancy because she isnt. there is too much stress at her house and her mom always yells at her when she should be supporting her like her dad does. he is helping tye a lot by trying to make things right.
I am strongly in favor of how the father went about comunicating with Ty. It was a positive way to explain how he saw things without losing his temper. I wish more people could problem solve the way he does.
I like that the dad was more accepting. IT was more realisitc. of course parents are always upset, and disapointed but 7 months into the pregnancy they tend to be more understanding, and they have to be supportive
What Tye said at the beginning of the episode to her mom was low. And It seems to me that Tye got pregnant to make her dad happy because it doesn’t really seem like her mom cares for children.
im sooooo in love with the start of this episode its soooo intense…tye just wanted someone to confine in…..and resulting in a baby not planning out wat she really felt inside….communication is key!
it seemed like tye just kept the baby to have someone to love her but that was her intent when she was having sex but now that she’s about to bring this child into this world she probably has that thought.
This episode was very intense but it reminded me of an early episode when the girl said why she had her baby. While Tye did not intended to get pregnant, she kept the baby in hopes of bringing her family closer together. This shows how important communication is within a family. Teens need constant reassurance of love and support, and they must feel secure in knowing that they have stable families that don’t constantly fight.
I love/hate how each episode keeps me wanting more. They should be a little longer, atleast 15 mins. There is so much more deatils that can go in every episode.
Another really good episode…I love the way many important themes are woven through the episodes, like the comment about Tye possibly having a girl – and feeling she should not promote that fact…to the relationships that surround the teens, in their families, and friendships–where love exists and how it shows itself.
I like the question “Have you ever written a poem for a girl?” (and the way only the youngest is willing to own up)
I also like the song at the end, “Everybody’s gone and I’m left crying on the floor.”
Wow though, so much grief over this amazing new life cooking…
I’m happy to see that this show is willing to de-bunk the idea that there’s anything easy about having kids–esp. kids having kids. -thankyou!
Another great episode! Tentions run high in this one, which is normal. No matter what anyone say, there is always a story behind actions. Tye feel that she can pull her family together with this child. Is this possible? and why does it take a baby to change things? The key is to recongize these problems and act on them as soon as possible because all of this could have been prevented.
Whn you cont. to watch each eps. it becomes more, and more POWERFUL, including his Cast members. Allen Sowelle? who r you and why havent movie minded investers seek you out yet? “Do you”, bro, cause you got a “God given” Talent. Look forward to more. Investers look out, this Guys (Work) is coming to a theater near you, at least he/it should. God Bless
“Smooth pregnancy..healthy delivery…smooth pregnancy…healthy delivery…smooth pregnancy…healthy, &%##, delivery!” I love these lines from this episode.
It’s so important to manage stress when you’re pregnant. There’s a tremendous amount going on…your body’s changing, emotions are running high, you’re worried about labor, taking care of baby, managing baby expenses. It’s a lot for both teen mom and dad.
Most importantly, find someone to talk to about how you’re feeling. If you’re experiencing extreme sadness, excessive crying, feelings of hopelessness or feeling like you’re not coping well, please talk to your doctor or public health nurse.
This is part seven, which sadly means there are only two more episodes left after this one. If you think this series could make a difference in the life of a young person, please share this site with him or her and use it to start a dialog about choices.
I like the show ,but the parents just keep getting in the way.
why is tye’s mom being so stubborn, she needs to let tye do what she needs to do to be happy.
Tyler’s mom needs to calm down, she’s a baby hater. i can’t imagine anyone hating babies. thats real cold

I think tye’s pregnancy is not going smoothly because she seems very stressed about everything and keeps arguing with her mother.

the dad is really nice i like the way he treat his daugter.I like those kind parent
so much happens I wish people would be more accepting of the situation instead of analyzing it and all connotations connected to it.

Her mother is sooo bothersome to me, no matter her reasons.
Isn’t he the same guy that played Raven’s boyfriend on “That’s So Raven” He use to rap when he was younger didn’t he?

Thanks Melissa. You’re right. There is a lot, lot more to these stories, to these young lives on the verge.
We look forward to telling more.
thanks for your support.

That mother is too selfish, the beginning was intense, the talk between Lonnie and his boy was deep, and where’s the testimonial?!
P.S. Lonnie’s sister’s shirt wasn’t that bad- I’ve seen worse.
i really love the beginning of this episode .. it’s so intense and it makes you want to keep watching the rest of the show just to see what happens .
