I think loonie did the right thing telling tye dad that hes going to try his best and make it right. I was surprised by what tye dad said, but he does have a point. tyes mom was out of line, she has a right to be mad but not to be a jerk. I think “getting caught in the heat of the moment” is just a lame excuse. the condoms would have been easyier than taking care of a baby. I think condoms have a more important role in preventing pregnancy than protection against infection, people ushally dont know that you can still get an infection by oral and anal sex. What the group leader said about wanting to have a baby made sense, I think girls will sometimes get pregnet to possibly keep the babys dad closer to her. or vice versa. I think that last scene just shows a little how difficult it can be for a father.

I think it is great that Lonnie is going to a support group. His mom is just making it worse by yelling at him and not supporting him.
